Levelio Privacy Policy

Tanner Bair operates Levelio under TheAvgDevs. Levelio is designed to keep your tasks, habits, character progress, inventory, and settings on your device unless you choose to export, sync, or share them.

Information The App Stores

Levelio may store the following on your device:

  • Tasks, recurring habits, completion history, streaks, XP, gold, health, stamina, gear, skill choices, character customization, and app settings.
  • Optional local backups of your app data.
  • Local diagnostic breadcrumbs used to help recover from crashes or data issues.
  • Hashed duplicate-detection fingerprints used to reduce XP farming. These are not stored as readable task words.

Optional Apple Reminders Sync

Reminders sync is off by default. If you enable it, Levelio asks for Apple Reminders access and can import incomplete reminders as quests. Completing or deleting imported quests may update or delete the matching Apple Reminder.

Optional iCloud Backup

Cloud backup is off by default. If you enable it, Levelio can save encrypted backup snapshots to your private iCloud/CloudKit storage so you can restore app data later. These backups are tied to your Apple ID and private iCloud account.

Optional Diagnostics And Feedback

Diagnostics sharing is off by default. If you give consent and choose to copy or share a report, Levelio prepares it locally with app version, build, device/OS context, crash status, and sanitized diagnostic entries. The app does not automatically upload diagnostic reports.

Backup Export And Import

You can choose to export and import local JSON backup files from Settings. Exported backups may contain your tasks, habits, character progress, and game state. Imported backup files are checked for size before their JSON contents are read. You control where you save or send exported files.

Levelio Pro purchases

Levelio offers optional monthly and annual Levelio Pro subscriptions through the App Store. Apple manages subscription billing and account settings. To manage or cancel a subscription, follow Apple's subscription instructions. To ask Apple for a refund, use Apple's refund-request instructions.

Tracking And Advertising

Levelio includes optional rewarded ads through Google Mobile Ads for eligible non-Pro users. After subscription status resolves, the app may ask an eligible Free user for iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission during launch when optional ad offers are enabled; it does not start an ad first. Opening an eligible, user-initiated Free offer may preload one rewarded ad only after the existing ATT and Google consent states allow an ad request. Preloading does not show an ATT or consent prompt. When you explicitly choose to watch an ad, the app waits for ATT to resolve, refreshes Google consent information, and presents any required consent form before requesting an ad.

Levelio Pro subscribers receive the same capped assist options without loading rewarded ads. If Google requires privacy options, Settings > Privacy & Diagnostics > Optional Ads & Privacy > Ad Privacy Options opens the provider controls; that route remains available to Pro users and when Free users hide optional offers. The app disables publisher ad personalization in code and does not use ads to grant XP, gold, loot odds, task completion, or permanent battle advantages.

Google Mobile Ads may collect data needed to serve, measure, and improve ads, such as approximate location derived from IP address, device identifiers, advertising interaction data, product interaction data, crash data, and performance data. Levelio does not sell your task or habit data and does not send your tasks, habits, character data, backups, or diagnostics to Google for ad targeting.

Data Sharing

Levelio does not sell your data. The app does not upload tasks, habits, or diagnostics to a developer-hosted server in this build. Data can leave your device when you choose an optional Apple service, export/share a backup, share a diagnostic report, or choose to watch a rewarded ad served by Google Mobile Ads.
