What to include
The clearest support message usually includes:
- StashPin version and build number
- iPhone model and iOS version
- What you were trying to do
- What happened and what you expected
- Whether the issue involves items, locations, tags, photos, search, backup, restore, sharing, privacy settings, or app icons
- Whether it involves Stash Pin Unlimited, restoring purchases, subscription status, iCloud Sync, or Smart Check-ins
Please avoid sending passwords, full identification numbers, or other sensitive information that is not needed to understand the problem.
iCloud Sync
iCloud Sync is opt-in for Stash Pin Unlimited and applies to the Personal space. It requires the device to be signed in to iCloud. Turning sync off pauses uploads without deleting local or previously synced iCloud data. If the app reports that the Apple Account changed, do not reconnect or upload until you confirm which account should own the local data.
Smart Check-ins
Smart Check-ins are an optional Stash Pin Unlimited feature under Settings. They are off by default and can run weekly or monthly. Notifications contain only a generic count of items that may need review. If they do not arrive, confirm the subscription is active, the feature is enabled, and notifications are allowed for StashPin in iOS Settings.
Backup and restore
Open StashPin Settings, then Backup & Restore, to create or restore a StashPin backup. Backup files are saved or shared through the destination you choose. If a restore fails, keep the original backup file and include the exact message shown by the app in your support email.
Stash Pin Unlimited
Purchases are handled by Apple's in-app purchase system. If an existing subscription does not appear active, use Restore Purchases in the app. If the issue continues, include the on-screen message and whether the subscription appears in your Apple account's subscription settings.
Privacy
StashPin is local-first and does not include accounts, in-app advertising, analytics, or tracking. Optional Personal iCloud Sync uses your private Apple CloudKit database. Read the StashPin Privacy Policy for details about device storage, private iCloud Sync, selected photos, backups, exports, Smart Check-ins, and purchases.
